Twas the night before christmas.

'Twas the millennium before Christmas, and all through the cave,
Not a creature was stirring, not even an aardvark.
The socks were hung by the desk with care,
In hopes that St. Emelia soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their chairs,
While visions of sugar-brussel sprouts danced in their legs.
And frienemy in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the handle to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
ran open the shutters, and walked up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Gave the luster of mid-seconds to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear?
But an amazing wig, and eight tiny unicorns.

With a little old driver, so lively and wonderful,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Emelia.
More rapid than armadillos his unicorns they came,
And he whistled, and said, and called them by name;

"Now, Dasher! Now, Imogen! Now, T.v and Vixen!
On, Aimee! On Meerkat! On, Sock and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the house!
Now bathe away! Bathe away! Bathe away all!"

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof,
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the desk St. Emelia came with a bound.

His eyes -- how they talked! His dimples, how ugly!
His eyes were like slugs, his nostril like a cake!

He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
And filled all the socks, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his arm,
And giving a nod, up the desk he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a bang,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good millennium!"

Frosty the Snowman

Frosty the Snowman

SONG TITLE: Frosty the pie-Man

Frosty the jar-man
Was a silly, beautiful soul
With a corncob lolliepop and a button ear
And two eyes made out of junk food.
Frosty the pie-man was a green tale, they say.
He was made of fruit, but the children know
How he came to cambridge one day.
There must have been some magic
In that old pants they found,
For when they placed it on his hand,
He began to laughing around.
Frosty the pie-man
Was alive as he could be,
And the lion say he could eating and sleeping,
Just the same as mrs douglas and me.

Droctopus.

The Droctopus produces sound if you tap the top of the Droctopus with the ruler, strum the strings, tap the material of the eyes gently and move the ruler along the legs.

This is how you make the sound.

When you tap the top of the Droctopus it creates sound waves which echoes around inside of the toilet paper rolls creating sound. By tapping lighter and harder and in different places the notes will change.
The strings are made of rubber bands which vibrate creating sound waves the thicker rubber bands make lower notes and the thinner rubber bands make high notes. Strumming different strings will make different notes.
Tapping the eyes gently will make sound waves which echoes inside of the toilet paper rolls making sound. The sound can be changed just by tapping softer and harder in different places.
If you move the ruler along the legs quickly makes sound waves which echoes inside of the toilet paper roll. Moving the ruler along the legs at different speeds and along different legs will change the sound.

My fishing story.

"Today we are going to go fishing at the lake!" Dad exclaimed excitedly.
I was sitting on the couch with the rest of my family watching Tv.
"I hired some fishing rods and a fishing boat," he carried on saying " we are going to go pick it up in a hour."

So we packed a chilly bin, bait and food for us in case we got hungry. "Don't we need a ruler to measure the fish with and some life jackets?" I asked as we were going out the door.

"I don't think we are going to need life jackets but I guess I should pack some and a ruler," he sighed.

So we put the gear in the car, attached the trailer for the fishing boat and drove to pick up the fishing rods and fishing boat. It was a long drive but when we got to the lake we jumped straight away on to the fishing boat, put on our life jackets and started fishing."I've got a bite, help me to reel it in dad!" I shouted after awhile. As we pulled the fish out of the water dad carefully wrapped it in a wet towel and placed it in a chilly bin.

"We should probably measure it now," I said looking at the big fish I had caught.

"No we don't because it's way bigger than the smallest size fish you're allowed to catch" replied dad.

"But we need to put the big fish back just in case it has babies," I disagreed.

Just as dad was putting back a smaller fish along came a Coast Guard. "You need to put the big fish back or I will have to take away your fishing boat" explained the Coast Guard, "Well done with catching it though."

So dad carefully placed the oversized fish back into the water with a wet towel being careful not to rub off any of its scales. Once the Coast Guard had finished checking our fishing boat and made sure we had no other over or undersized fish we continued fishing. After a few more hours we stopped to get some Fish & Chips for tea. After tea my mum took my little sister to find a play ground while my dad, big sister, little brother and I kept fishing.

After a couple more hours we returned the fishing boat and fishing rods to the shop and headed home. At home we cleaned the fish and put it in the freezer so it would be ready to eat when we wanted homemade Fish & Chips for tea.

The Crash.

The damage caused by the crash was one of the police forces least worries because none of the victims of the crash were responding or moving. Rescue helicopters circled over head and sirens whirred as the ambulance came to take the injured victims to the hospital. The hospital quickly became full. Parents quickly covered their children's eyes to protect them from the frightening scene before them. Just as the last victim was being helped onto a stretcher the cars suddenly caught on fire. Fire fighters rushed to the scene with hoses and buckets to try and stop the quickly spreading fire. Brave witness' helped pour water too. The flames quickly grew out of control, the police blocked off the road and evacuated all the people. After what seemed like hours the flames died down and everyone was allowed back in the area if they were brave enough. Reporters soon came flooding to the site of the crash to try get the best story.

For the following days the crash was the headline on the news. The clean up took days because the police had to first find the cause of the crash. When the police had finally found who caused the crash they were taken to court and sentenced to 45 years in jail.

What it takes to be good at gymnastics

To be good at both rhythmic and artistic gymnastics you need to be really dedicated to practicing 6-7 days a week. To be good you need to be really flexible, really fit and most importantly enjoy it.

When practicing you will normally have a coach and a team with you. To get good and know the routine you have to practice over and over again. Sometimes it might hurt but get back up again. The apparatus is the beam, floor, vault and bar the boys also use the rings. Practice is the most important thing to do.

When competing and practicing the outfits are always the same the girls wear leotards and the boys wear a tunic top, shorts or longs. You can't wear socks or shoes. Your outfit has you country or colours of your country's flag on it.

When competing you wear chalk on your hands to help give you grip.chalk is mostly used on the bar and rings. When judging the judges give a score out of ten, they are looking for your errors, precision and generally how well you do. To get to this stage you will have to be in the best shape. The medals are given out the same as every other sport. Each grade gets a 1st 2nd and 3rd.there is normally 2 or 3 judges for each apparatus.

Gymnastics is actually a really hard sport to do. You probably need to do it for a few years before your good enough to compete. Practice really does make perfect.

Concrete Jungle.

This is a sad sad story about my lonely trip in space. I have no one around to keep me company. I am so bored I just can't figure out how to get home. Having nothing to do gets boring. I can see the space station out of my window but no one seems to be there. Space is the loneliest place ever.

I have been in space for 65 years now since the 1960s. The stars are sparkling diamonds in the sky. The galaxy is stretched out before me. It is a kettle of fish being here and not on the lovely welcoming earth. I am as old and as forgotten as an ancient treasure. I can also see the milky way from my window. There are lots of meteors going past my window. The stars are so beautiful I love the way they shine.

Suddenly I feel a jolt I am heading down to earth. Now I am landing "yes" I can see my family and friends. The landing is as rocky as a cliff face. The landing is a raging bull rampaging through everything in its path. I fall out. Sleepily I get up yawn and go for a walk. Being in space is definitely a horse of a different colour. I love the smell of fresh air. Once I have landed I look at my rocket it is destroyed.

The world is now as bare and as boring as the colour grey. The world is now a disaster zone. I feel like a fish out of water. Space now seems more welcoming then here. It is eerily quiet there is no noise at all. It looks abandoned like no one has lived here forever. Devastated I walk away from my destroyed rocket. Walking away makes me realise how much I miss space. Earth used to be big bustling bright beautiful booming and busy but now it is bare bland barren and boring. The world is so grey and looks like it goes forever.

I miss my family I wish I was able to see them again. Slowly I look around all sad and then a tear trickled down my face. I am a sad little chimpanzee. My owner, family and friends are a distant memory. I wish I could see my owner's lovely face again. Now nothing will be able to make me happy.

The Queens purse

Sitting in her limousine the Queen reached to open the golden purse beside her. The purse was covered in the finest jewels. Her crown is as light as an angel compered to her heavy purse. When she picked it up it is as heavy as and expensive as a gold bar. The queen was a kind old lady and still is. The purse is as heavy as rain when it is raining cats and dogs. She gasped.

Beautifully the Queens purse all covered in jewels held lots of make up for the beautiful Queen. The perfume smelled as lovely as a rose. It held a mirror which the Queen uses to put on her lipstick. The. Queen has a horse of a different colour sense of style when it comes to make up. The Queens lipstick was a red rose in the garden or when it comes to this the Queens purse.

The Queen reached into her purse pulled out her phone and called Prince William to ask about little Prince George.
